A couple of years ago I attended a conference in Wakefield, MA. At the end of the day, one person of Indian origin organized a laughing session in which you just laugh for no reason whatsoever. Most of us found it hard, if nearly impossible, to be laughing at nothing. Mind you I love to laugh and comedy is my favorite genre (unlike many other people I can get a big laugh in a funny movie even if I am watching it absolutely alone at home).
Looks though that Indians know something that the rest of the world doesn’t. Apparently, Indians gather in parks in the morning for community laughs and they claim that it helps them fight stress and depression. I wonder how it would feel if we had our morning laughing sessions before beginning work.
