How did Lauren Goodger lose weight?

Have you ever been in a situation when you simply did not realize that something was wrong with you until someone told you so?  Well, it often hurts to hear from someone hands you the bitter truth, but generally it is a positive thing.  I have had people give me feedback on health, money, career, and relationship, and I have taken it to my heart even though it was painful to hear it first.  That is what happened to Lauren Goodger, who was ridiculed by tabloids for looking out of shape.  She may have hated the way it was handled by the media, but she decided to take action by going on the so-called Cambridge Diet.

How does the Cambridge Diet work?  Also known as the Cambridge Weight plan, this is a very low calorie diet (VLCD); in other words, we are talking something between 440 to 1500 calories a day, when an average person should be consuming all the way from 1500 to 2000 calories daily.  That is why this diet should only be undertaken in consultation with your physician because this is like fasting daily for an extended period of time and that can have disastrous consequences on your health.  Since it is nearly impossible to follow this diet on your own (you will be shocked to know how many calories even simple foods contain that you eat without thinking at all; a cookie can easily be about 200 calories while a cupcake can easily be 350 kcal) and that is why you sign up to receive prepared food that includes meals, soups, and shakes that are extremely low in calories, and you have to avoid alcohol and caffeine.

I am yet to receive data on her weight loss but these pictures shows it is substantial.
