Health and fitness with vegetables

 

When it comes to eating just vegetables (as many Hindus do and recently a lot of people in even traditionally meat-eating societies have done), the debate is not settled yet. Nina Planck is strongly opposed to giving up meat, yet, hundreds of millions of people worldwide do just fine living on veggies alone. While I am not a vegetarian but almost never eat meat at home. I do not mind meat at parties or while I am eating out but if there is a good vegetarian dish, I pick it as well. And I have always been in great health with no diseases ever. Now, PETA may take a somewhat radical approach, but there are a lot of good reasons to eating plenty of fruits and vegetables. They are good source of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and make you feel fuller; thus, you eat less.
