When will gummy bear implants be available?
Cindy writes, “I’m going to have a mastecomy with reconstructive surgery. What states are the gummy bear implants available in?”
Right now gummy bear implants are still under trial and while no one really knows, my sense is that the approval is at least a few years away. The FDA is very slow in such matters. Gummy bear implants are currently not available commercially in any state and can only be given to those who agreed to participate in clinical trials.
