Jane Fonda's views on plastic surgery make me mad

Postby madonna » Tue May 09, 2006 2:03 pm

As is well known now, Jane Fonda has become a big opponent of plastic surgery (despite havig it herself in the past). And to prove that she is the real deal, L'Oreal has hired her as the company's new spokesperson. Looks like the company wants to go after the baby boomers, but look what Jane said recently. "...everyone looks the same...The lips all look like duck lips, there's no more wrinkles. Everything that made someone beautiful is gone."

I don't know if I agree with her and while she is entitled to not looking like a duck but to attack those of us who like what my surgeon does on me - she has no business to attack us.

Linda Evans has a better perspective on plastic surgery

Postby botox-fan » Mon May 22, 2006 9:46 am

In the Sunday Mirror, Dynasty star Linda Evans admits to having plastic surgery. "I can't say I haven't had it and I am the only woman not affected by gravity! I've also had Botox..."

I like people who can be honest about cosmetic surgery.

Iman not happy with her surgery

Postby beauty-queen » Tue Jun 20, 2006 1:59 pm

Well, Iman is becoming like Jane Fonda. Now she is regretting that she had a breast lift procedure after her pregnancy. According to her, while she was hoping for a big change in how she felt, nothing seemed to change for her. I read another article that says that if a woman has problems of her own, cosmetic surgery can't fix them. Maybe that's what the problem with Iman is.
