OUR SUSTAINABILITY APPROACH

MISSION & VISION

Our mission is to provide the most comprehensive portfolio of cutting-edge, high quality haircare brands while pursuing social and environmental sustainability.

We care for people and our planet, this is why we pursue a “Sustainable by Design” approach for responsible business.

Our vision is to provide an outstanding beauty experience by developing creative, research-based and sustainable haircare products.

CORE VALUES

RESPONSIBLE
BY DESIGN

Our formulas, packaging and productive processes follow a “sustainable by design” approach, which means we develop high-performance products with a reduced environmental impact. In order to do so, we rely on recycled materials, materials from renewable sources and a streamline design, always maintaining a creative, appealing and brand-specific touch. Moreover, we optimize secondary packaging, reducing space for logistic distribution. Lastly, we enforce ESG practices along our value chain and promote transparency as a shared common value with our suppliers and customers.

THE BEAUTYNOVA GROUP HALVES ITS PRODUCTION CO2 EMISSIONS AND AIMS TO ACHIEVE B-CORP AND SRG 88088:20 CERTIFICATIONS IN 2023.

Environmental awareness

Care for

the planet

We are driven by environmental awareness, which translates into the decarbonization of industrial processes and plants as well as the implementation of circular productive models. We strive to optimize process efficiency while reducing our carbon footprint and minimizing waste and water consumption. Lastly, we perform targeted research in order to benefit from the largest amount of raw materials from natural sources.

CORE VALUES

Beautynova EcoDesign Tool

We are working on Beautynova EcoDesign Tool Beta Version powered by Project HUB-360'. It will allow to evaluate and compare the environmental impacts of products developed and manufactured by Beautynova. The tool, based on an automated Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method, will provide indications on the products with the best or improved environmental footprint, including the carbon footprint, implementing sustainability as a key factor in our R&D processes. The analyses are conducted with a "cradle to gate" approach, which indicates that the boundaries of the analyzed system include the production cycle, from the origin of the raw materials up to the finished product at the Beautynova "gate", ready to be delivered to the customer.

Social engagement

Care for

the people

We act responsibly towards our employees, colleagues and communities. Besides strengthening guidelines and procedures for a continuous improvement of our H&S performance, we promote a corporate culture which includes internal training for enriching the professional heritage of our employees. Furthermore, we support communities with both local and international initiatives.
